Nine years ago, almost to the day, I began blogging. I’ve amassed a considerable amount of material on that site since then, so there is something very refreshing and inspiring about all the blank space currently visible on this one. The possibilities seem limitless, and I’m eager to get to work filling this blog with content. I’m even more excited about the conversations that will soon take place here, and all the people I’m about to meet who share not only my passion for mixing great cocktails, but my curiosity about all the history and lore that accompany each arcane recipe.

I remember my earliest blogs, and how tickled I was to watch the community grow, and read the first comments left by readers. Here I am again, moments away from christening this new page. I’m glad you found me. Stick around awhile… let me pour you a drink.
